Help Wanted

Conventions don't run themselves! They rely on the dedication and hard work from people such as yourself. Do you think you have what it takes to join the NordicFuzzCon team? Do you want to help make NordicFuzzCon 2018 the best convention yet? Below you will find a list of open positions that we are currently looking to fill.

Security

5 positions are available.

Security members are in charge of attendee well-being throughout the convention. They check badges at certain events, help sort out queues neatly, help out to guide the fursuiters during the parade, enforces fire and safety regulations, assists the medic team and generally patrol the hotel with a keen open eye to resolve any problem often before attendees even notice.

Charity

2 positions are available.

The charity team is looking for two new sufficiently awesome members!

Work tasks would be to help planning the lottery prices, managing the lottery tickets, and selling the lottery tickets.

Logistics, aka. Getting Stuff Done

4 positions are available.

We are looking for some hard-working Cheese Wranglers!

Work tasks will include helping to move NFC equipment from the convention storage to the hotel and then back again; helping out with on-site transportation; and assisting with some simple set-up. You will need to be able to be on-site on the morning before the convention the afternoon after the convention (late departure day).

Registration

3 positions are available.

Work tasks will include helping out at the registration table, temporarily baggage storage and more.

Medic

2 positions are available.

Work tasks include helping attendees throughout the convention, working together with security much more.

Media & Advertising

1 position is available.

We are looking for someone who is a decent English writer and who's comfortable posting on social media (Twitter, Facebook, etc.). Bonus points if they're either tech savvy or design savvy.

Photo & Video

2 positions are available.

The photo/video department are looking for two more awesome camera men. You will help recording on certain events and around in the hotel. The more material we get the better :)

Opening/Closing Ceremony Team

2 positions are available.

Work tasks will be to help brainstorming, shaping the opening/closing ceremony and getting stuff done.

Website content/graphics

1-2 position(s) is/are available.

The website team is responsible for producing and maintaining the website and forum. There are two different roles, the first will be to help with content and other website/forum related things. You need to know basic html and preferably some CSS for this position.

The second role is a graphics designer to help create website designs that are user friendly. Required is the ability to find and produce mockups of designs that can be implemented for all web sites.
